Miscellaneous optionsExporting the circuit as a graphicMoHAT has two methods for you to export your circuit and graphs. MoHAT can take a screenshot of the entire circuit viewing area, including any graphs, and either print it or copy it to the clipboard as a bitmap image. Before doing so, MoHAT will cut out any extra white space so the image is as small as possible. To copy the image to the clipboard, press the button located on the right side of the options menu that looks like a clipboard. To print the image, click the button located below the clipboard button that looks like a printer. When you first ran MoHAT, a box appeared asking you to install the Print-o-matic Xtra. If you didn't install that, then you will be unable to print the circuit although, you can still copy it to the clipboard. If you choose not to install the Print-o-matic Xtra, and you wish to do so now, reload MoHAT, and you will be given the option to install it again. Hiding the labels or nodes in the circuitAnother feature of MoHAT allows you to visually hide the names of the elements. You can do this by pressing the button on the very right side of the options menu that has the word Name on it. Doing this will cause the labels next to every element to disappear. You can make them reappear by clicking the same button again. You may also make the dots that represent the nodes disappear. To do this, press the button on the very right side of the options menu that has the word Nodes on it. To make the nodes reappear, press the button again. When the nodes are invisible, the circuit acts exactly the same except you will be unable to see them. Remember that if you adjust the circuit, make the nodes visible so when you connect the elements together, it will look proper. Preferences PageIf you often use MoHAT on the same computer, then it would be to your advantage to visit the preferences page. It is located in the control menu under the heading Miscellaneous: Preferences. The top part of this box has features that are discussed in the following tutorial entitled Advanced Features. Below that are multiple options to make using MoHAT easier. These options are listed below with a short description of what they control.
Color keyIn case you forget what state corresponds with what color, there is a color key for each element that you can open at any time. In the control menu under the heading Color key, there is a link for Diode, Mosfet, and BJT. Click on any one of these links, and a box will open up with a legend of the colors for the corresponding element. |
