Specifications for PSpice

• Users use one circuit listing per output file.
• Users must end all circuit listings with the “.END” identifier
• Users must only use the circuit elements listed below in Tables 1.1 and 1.2. The use of an element not listed below may either be ignored in the analysis or cause the program to fail.
• Users may use any of the following three analysis types: DC, AC, or Transient.
• Users must give the circuit a .PRINT statement that prints the voltage and current for every node adjacent to any simulated element.
• Users may use the following .PRINT statements for the appropriate analysis:
• Transient Analysis: .PRINT TRAN [NODES]
• DC Step Analysis: .PRINT DC [NODES]
• AC Freq Analysis: .PRINT AC [NODES]
NOTE: To include a node current or voltage, users must individually list each one in the [NODES] section of the above statements. The overall form must look like this: “V(n1) V(n2)…V(nx)” for voltages and “I(n1) I(n2)… I(nx)” for currents, where each node may be in one of two forms.

1. V(numerical node number) or I(numerical node number)
2. V([node label string]) or I([node label string])

Simulated PSpice Circuit Elements

The MoHAT Tool will simulate the following list of circuit elements as specified by their parameters. At any given point in time, these elements will be in one of a limited number of states. The program will display and update that state information over the change in input or time.

NOTE: Any specifications may be used for the above devices as allowed by PSpice.

Non-Simulated PSpice Circuit Elements

The following list of circuit elements may be in the circuit, but no analysis of their behavior will be done. In the circuit diagram they will either be listed by their respective labels or simply by a black box. These elements may use any specifications as allowed by PSpice.
